We were cruising around the lake and heard an abnormal clicking noise coming from the boat engine. Took the valve cover off and found the problem. Not exactly what we wanted to see!

My grandfather is going to be putting his boat in the same boat show that he did last year. Last year he won all the awards that he could for his boat.
This year the boat is going to be put in for judging since it wouldn’t be good to take all of the awards 2 years in a row. It is just going to be in the show and the only award that he could win is the people’s choice award. I will be probably taking a lot of pictures and will have them online soon after the show.

My Grandfather’s 1957 Chris Craft was put into the New England Chapter of ACBS 32nd Annual Boat Show in Meredith, NH on Lake Winnipesauke. There were around 100 boats there and it was an awesome show. This is the first show that this boat has been put in and it won many of the awards tha tthey were giving out. The boat won seven awards at the show and the awards are:
– Best of Show
– Participant’s Choice
– People’s Choice
– Best Chris Craft in Show
– Best Owner Restorer
– Best in Class (post war runabout over 20 feet)
– Chris Craft Award
My grandfather was so happy when he found out how many awards becuase we knew that something was going on the day before because the judges kept coming over and finding litle things wrondg so we knew that it was a close compatition between a few boats. Then the next day after the show there was a brunch that my grandfather went to were he got all of the awards. Here is a picture of all of the awards that he won.
