I just finished watching the interview with Rihanna on 20/20 and I’m glad that we finally know exactly what happened the night that chris brown assaulted Rihanna. I personally think that chris brown should be put in jail for a while, so that other guys don’t get the idea that its ok to beat women and nothing will happen to them. I don’t understand why a “man” would ever put his hand on women, especially if he apparently loved her. Maybe it just goes to show that this “man” isn’t really a man after all.
After watching the interview you see that chris brown was just beating Rihanna since he didn’t want her to know that he was talking to one of his ex-girlfriends and she found out. I have heard many people say Rihanna did something to chris to make him beat her. There is absolutely no reason that a man should lay his hands on woman even if he thinks he has a good reason. Even if she made him really mad by saying something, he should never have hurt her in any way.
If there are any girls reading this that are currently in an abusive relationship get out of it. Why would you want to stay with someone that beats you? There are plenty of men in the world that will love you for who you are and you won’t have to worry that they are going to get home and beat you. Even if you love the guy that is beating you, you need to think of what is best for you. It is obviously that getting beaten is not what is best.
So if you or anyone you know is in an abusive relationship you really need to help get them out of it. If a man will hit the woman he loves once, he will definitely do it again, even if you think he has changed. Hopefully guys will learn to be men and not just boys and treat women the way they should be.
